The Art of Auguste Rodin - 1840-1917

Rodin, a sculpture of exquisite skill, is famous for his imposing bronze sculptures of individuals and couples. He is perhaps best known for The Thinker (1880) and The Kiss (1886). Many people are unfamiliar with his lesbian-inspired works, though they can be viewed in Musée Rodin, Paris. This page presents four of his working sketches on the theme.
